asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether soldiers whose correct age is proved, in accordance with Army Council Instruction No. 832 of 1917, to be between seventeen and eighteen and who are retained as ordinary soldiers in the Army, under Army Council Instruction No. 1,184 of 1917, only receive the pay of 8d. per diem until they attain the age of eighteen?
