HC Deb 12 November 1917 vol 99 c50W
Mr. CHANCELLOR

asked whether the inoculation of soldiers on the transport "Empress of Britain," which resulted in a number of deaths, officially admitted, was carried out against the warning and protests of a military officer on board, who predicted that, under the insanitary conditions of the ship, inoculation would almost certainly cause fatalities?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I have nothing to, add yet to my answer of 29th October.
