HC Deb 21 March 1917 vol 91 cc1936-7W
Mr. BYRNE

asked the Home Secretary whether he has received any requests from Ireland asking for increased visiting facilities and an improved dietary scale for the Countess Markiewicz; and if he will say why the publication of the evidence taken at her court-martial is continuously refused?

Mr. BRACE

Representations have been received from three local authorities in Ireland asking that this prisoner may be allowed to receive a daily visit. The second part of the question should be put to the War Office.
