§ Mr. DILLONasked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to an interview given by Lord Milner to Reuter's Agency and published on 6th March, 1917, in which he said that it was chiefly owing to the support of His Majesty the Czar that the results of the discussions were so satisfactory, and further that it was quite wrong to suppose that there was in Russia any controversy about the waging of the War, that it is merely a question of administration, in fact much the same kind of controversy as there was 1939W in England; whether this interview was submitted to and passed by the Censor for publication; if so, why the Censor continues to sanction publications calculated to deceive the people of this country; and whether communications setting forth the truth of the Russian situation and warning the British people of what was about to happen in that country have been systematically suppressed?.
