§ Sir G. CAVEThe answer to the first three paragraphs of the question is in the affirmative. I have also discussed the matter with a deputation representing the Union of Licensed Vehicle-Workers, and I am in communication with both parties with a view to an early decision. I cannot make any further statement on the subject at present.
