HC Deb 26 April 1917 vol 92 c2607W

Under the new Warrant it is provided that if a man finds that, with his pension and children's allowance, and the earnings of which he remains capable, do not bring his total receipts up to his pre-war wages, he is entitled to apply for an alternative pension as explained in Clause 3 of the Royal Warrant. This application should be made through the local war pensions committee, who obtain for the Ministry the information necessary for the award.
