§ Mr. DUKEThe reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The Estates Commissioners received several communications from the locality on behalf of Thomas Smith, but, after inquiry and consideration, they have decided not to take any action with reference to his application for reinstatement in a holding on the Blake estate formerly occupied by his mother or the provision of an equivalent holding.
