HC Deb 02 April 1917 vol 92 c962W
Mr. F. MEEHAN

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that trade and commerce are being hold up in Ireland owing to the shortage of railway wagons, especially on the Great Northern line; and whether, having regard to the necessity of facilitating farmers with supplies of seeds, immediate steps will be taken to supply the usual rolling stock?

Mr. ROBERTS

The points raised by the hon. Gentleman have been put before the Irish Railway Executive Committee, and are receiving their attention.
