HC Deb 02 April 1917 vol 92 cc950-1W
Sir F. BLAKE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War what proportion of the twenty-one brigadier-generals stated to have been promoted from the Territorial Forces served in the Artillery, Yeomanry, Infantry, or other branches of that service, respectively; and how many of them were so serving at the outbreak of the War?

Mr. MACPHERSON

The total of twenty-one is made up of eight from the Yeomanry and thirteen from the Infantry. All these appointments have been made since the beginning of the War.
