HC Deb 02 April 1917 vol 92 c952W
Mr. WATT

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War how many officers and soldiers have on the average been stationed at Ardhallow Fort, Firth of Clyde, during the last twelve months; has there, during all that time, been a chaplain and a doctor to minister to the wants of these few men; if so, what is the rate of pay for such chaplain and such doctor; is he aware that there are in the neighbourhood clergymen and medical men able and willing to undertake the work; and will he take action in the matter in view of economy and scarcity elsewhere?

Mr. FORSTER

Inquiries will be made and my hon. Friend informed of the result.
