§ Mr. CHAMBERLAINSix vacancies in the Indian Civil Service were announced at the open competition this year, and have now been filled by duly qualified candidates appointed in the order of priority in which their names appear on the results list. A statement showing their nationality and place of education is being circulated with the OFFICIAL REPORT.
