§ Mr. FORSTERNo, Sir, no reduction in the scale has been made, but instructions have recently been issued that from the 1st proximo the chaff portion may be varied with a like quantity of hay. It is also under consideration whether the extra quantity of oats allowed during the training season shall be continued for the winter months. I will send my hon. Friend the information for which he asks in the last paragraph of his question.
