HC Deb 12 October 1916 vol 86 c224W
Mr. BROOKES

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether his attention has been called to the delay in the payment of bounties to time-expired men; and whether, if there must be delay, he will devise some system under which advances can be made?

Mr. FORSTER

I have no reason to suppose that there is any general delay. If any particular case is brought to notice inquiries will be made.
