HC Deb 12 October 1916 vol 86 c218W
Mr. STANTON

asked the Secretary of State for War if the War Office will allow the new Army Order to apply to all those soldiers who have been invalided from frostbite, dysentery, and other causes whilst on active service by granting permission that they should wear silver braid, in recognition of their loss of health and sacrifice to their country; and, if so, if such Order will at once be put in force?

Mr. FORSTER

I have nothing to add to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member on 15th August.
