§ Mr. KINGasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the number of letters and parcels addressed to soldiers on active service which either are not delivered or only delivered after long delay; whether he can give an assurance that every effort is made to give our fighting men the support of the best possible postal service; and whether he can issue any further instructions to the public which will assist in this object?
§ Mr. J. PEASEI fear that on active service occasional delay or loss of parcels for the troops is inevitable. I can give the hon. Member the assurance for which he asks. Full instructions are already issued to the public, and can be obtained at any Post Office.
