HC Deb 09 November 1916 vol 87 c432W
Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKE

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware of the condition of affairs at Pennington Camp, S.E.; that the men stationed there are still under canvas; that there are many cases of severe illness-arising from the damp and wet; and whether, during the winter months, he will consider the advisability of putting the-men in huts or billets?

Mr. FORSTER

All the men at Pennington Camp are now in huts or buildings. No troops there are under canvas.
