§ Mr. THOMASasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether instructions were issued on or about 25th February last that recruiting officers should inform men working in certified occupations that their exemption certificates will only remain valid while they continue to work for the particular firm at present employing them; and, if so, will he say by whose authority these instructions were issued, having regard to Section 2 (3) of the Military Service Act, 1916?
