Mr. SAMUELThe reply to the first part of the question is in the negative. Taking the average of the past three-years, the annual export of butter from Ireland to Great Britain is only one-sixth 351W of the total annual imports into Great Britain. The Department have no information as to the granting by any State of a subsidy for the manufacture of butter.
