McNEILLasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that the Mulcuto Company, carrying on business at 31, High Holborn, has works at Solingen, in Prussia, and that their goods are, or were before the War, stamped as being made in Germany; if he will say what proportion of the share capital is held by enemy aliens; and, in view of the fact that the company has recently been extensively advertising its goods for sale in this country, whether any steps are being taken to wind up the company or to deal with the enemy - held shares therein?
§ Mr. PRETYMANI understand that the sole proprietor of the business referred to is a British subject. I have no information as to the alleged ownership of works at Solingen, but, in view of my hon. Friend's question, I am causing inquiry to be made under the provisions of the Trading With the Enemy Acts.
