HC Deb 21 August 1916 vol 85 c2292W
Mr. RAWLINSON

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, at this period of the War, steps can be taken, through neutral Embassies or otherwise, to bring about an exchange of wounded and unwounded prisoners on a large scale between Great Britain and Germany?

Lord R. CECIL

As regards interned civilians, the steps being taken to promote exchange have already been explained in the House. As regards military prisoners of war, the question should be addressed to the War Office.
