HC Deb 21 August 1916 vol 85 c2291W
Mr. T. WILSON

asked the Secretary to the Admiralty if he is aware that a certain firm who are making seaplanes for the Admiralty are paying many of the men engaged on the work from 2s. to 15s. per week less than the proper rate of wage; and whether he will give instructions to this firm to pay the standard rate of wage, with payment of arrears to all men who have been paid the lower rate?

Dr. MACNAMARA

The particulars furnished in my hon. Friend's question are not sufficient to enable the firm to be identified. If he will supply me with full details I will have the matter investigated.
