HC Deb 15 March 1915 vol 70 cc1776-7W
Mr. CHARLES DUNCAN

asked the Home Secretary whether pensioner policemen in the Metropolitan force are only allowed one day oil in fourteen, whilst the rest of the force get one day off in seven; and, if so, will he endeavour to put the whole of the force on the same footing, so that all may have one day off in each seven days?

Mr. McKENNA

The Commissioner of Police informs me that he hopes that before long normal conditions as regards weekly leave will be resumed. It is not intended to discriminate between pensioners and the rest of the force, and such discrimination as there may have been was accidental.
