HC Deb 15 March 1915 vol 70 c1776W
Mr. MacVEAGH

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his Department has recently made any representation to the Argentine Government in regard to the export of pure-bred cattle from Ireland to the Argentine Republic; and whether, seeing that Ireland has been free from foot-and-mouth disease for more than six months, he can hold out any hopes of the withdrawal of the prohibition against importation?

Mr. PRIMROSE

The decree prohibiting the importation of cattle from Ireland into the Argentine Republic was revoked by the Argentine Government on 10th March.
