HC Deb 04 March 1915 vol 70 cc984-5W
Mr. THOMAS-STANFORD

asked the Under-Secretary for War whether he is aware, that there is considerable discontent among ex-Volunteers serving in Reserve battalions at their being denied the efficiency pay granted to ex-Territorials serving in the same battalions, although the ex-Volunteers have in numerous cases enjoyed a much longer period of service than the ex-Territorials and are admittedly of not inferior efficiency; and whether he will consider the advisability of putting the two classes on an equal footing?

Mr. BAKER

I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to the hon. Member for Brighton on the 17th February, a copy of which I will send him.
