HC Deb 26 November 1914 vol 68 cc1331-2W
Captain Earl WINTERTON

asked the Secretary for the Colonies whether, in view of the important operations which have taken place in British East Africa and Uganda, as shown by the casualty lists, he can give a statement to the House, or issue through the Press Bureau an account of the result and nature of the engagements; and if he is aware that there are a number of British women and children in those countries whose relatives are anxiously awaiting news of them?

Mr. HARCOURT

A statement is being issued through the Press Bureau to-day.
