§ Mr. BURNSMy predecessor has already laid a Command Paper, which will be published on Monday next, which contains the text of the International Convention on Safety of Life at Sea, together with an English translation. I fear that pending such publication it would not be possible in a reply to a question to make any statement which would adequately cover the decisions of the Conference. I may, however, inform my hon. Friend that, subject to certain exemptions, all ocean-going vessels having on board fifty persons will be required to be fitted with wireless telegraphy apparatus.
