asked the Under-Secretary for India when it is expected that the Report of Messrs. James MacNeill and Chimman Lall, who were deputed to conduct an official inquiry into the conditions under which Indian labour is employed in the Crown Colonies, will be submitted?

Mr. MONTAGU

I understand that the Report will be submitted before long, but am not yet able to name a date.
