§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEHaving regard to the difference between the arrangements as to the custody of Government balances in this country and the United States of America, I do not think there would be any advantage in seeking such powers as are suggested in the question, nor do I think that if such powers were obtained the use of them would have the effect which my hon. Friend anticipates.
