Mr. POLLOCK

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the damages, £75, and costs of action, which were by a judgment on 20th November, 1913, adjudged payable to Charles Twinn, of Wealdstone, in the Gore Division of Middlesex, in an action brought by Mr. Twinn for trespass against Herbert James Farrow, the collector of taxes for the parishes of Harrow, Harrow Weald, and Wealdstone, in the said Division, were defrayed and paid by an assessment in accordance with the provisions of Section 20, Sub-section (8), of the Taxes Management Act, 1880, or from some other and what source or fund under the control or direction of the Commissioners of Inland Revenue?
