Mr. DUNDAS WHITEasked the President of the Board of Agriculture if he will give a list of the weights and measures, other than those specified in the Weights and Measures Acts, which are in use in the various agricultural and stock markets in England and Wales?
§ Mr. HERBERT LEWIS (for Mr. Rundirian)A Return of the various weights and measures at which corn was then sold was given in the Appendix to the Report of the Select Committee on Corn Sales of 1893. The Board have not at command any more recent Return of weights and measures in local use, and fresh inquiry would be needed to procure it. The Board have some information as regards certain markets in connection with their Weekly Market Return, but it is by no means complete.
