§ Mr. CROFTasked the President of the Board of Education what are the rules of the Education Department with regard to the reports of examiners of schools; and whether they are regarded as confidential or whether a head master is able to obtain from the Board of Education a copy of the report of his school if his governors fail to supply him with one?
§ Mr. J. A. PEASEI understand the hon. Member's question to refer to reports made by the Board's inspectors upon secondary schools. It is the practice of the Board to send a copy of every report made by their inspectors after a formal inspection of a secondary school direct to the head master, as well as to the governing body.
