HC Deb 21 April 1914 vol 61 c772W
Mr. CROFT

asked the President of the Board of Education what are the rules of the Education Department with regard to the reports of examiners of schools; and whether they are regarded as confidential or whether a head master is able to obtain from the Board of Education a copy of the report of his school if his governors fail to supply him with one?

Mr. J. A. PEASE

I understand the hon. Member's question to refer to reports made by the Board's inspectors upon secondary schools. It is the practice of the Board to send a copy of every report made by their inspectors after a formal inspection of a secondary school direct to the head master, as well as to the governing body.
