§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Inspector-General informs me that his attention has been drawn to this matter. He has had Mr. M'Fadden's complaints thoroughly investigated and sees no reason to believe that 1639W Sergeant Farrell has in any way exceeded his duty. He sees no grounds for the inquiry suggested.
