Mr. BUXTONAs was stated by my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade, on Thursday last, in reply to a question by the hon. Member for South Wilts, the particulars available2250W with reference to emigration previous to 1st April, 1912, include an age classification which distinguishes persons over and under twelve years of age, but affords no further particulars of age. The number of male British subjects, shown as leaving during the nine months April to December, 1912, to reside permanently out of Europe, who were between twelve and eighteen years of age, was 8,939.
