Mr. TYSON WILSONasked the hon. Member for St. George's-in-the-East, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether he is aware that the firm of Gutteridge and Sons, builders, Peterborough, who are executing work at the post office at Peterborough, are paying less than the standard rate of wages to the joiners employed by them; and whether he will take steps to compel this firm to observe the Fair-Wages Resolution or remove them from the list of firms invited to tender for Government work?
