asked the Chief Secretary what steps have been taken by the Congested Districts Board to acquire the property of the Reverend Mr. Nicholson, London, in the parish of Attymass, near Ballina?

The Congested Districts Board recently issued an offer for the purchase of the estate referred to.

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland what progress has been made by the Congested Districts Board with the negotiations for the purchase of the estate of General Clive, Ballycroy, county Mayo, the valuation of which was completed twelve months ago, since when the owner's requirements in the matter of sporting and other rights have been conceded by the tenants; will he state the cause of this delay; and when the sale is likely to be completed?

The Congested Districts Board have issued an offer for the purchase of this property, and are at present in communication with the owner regarding it. The Board cannot at present say when the sale is likely to be completed.
