HC Deb 31 July 1913 vol 56 c750W
Mr. MacCALLUM SCOTT

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been called to the fact that, on the evening of Saturday, 12th July, at 10 p.m., out of sixty yachts lying at anchor in the Holy Loch, not in sheltered bays or shallow water, thirty-five exhibited lights in accordance with the Board of Trade regulations, and thirty exhibited no lights; and by what date he expects to complete his inquiries as to the desirability of enforcing the Board of Trade regulations in the Firth of Clyde and lochs?

Mr. BUXTON

My attention had not previously been called to the fact mentioned by my hon. Friend. No time is being lost in pursuing the inquiries necessary to enable me to arrive at a decision in the matter.
