HC Deb 11 February 1913 vol 48 c739W
Mr. HAMERSLEY

asked the President of the Local Government Board whether his attention has been called to the provisions of the Poor Law Order relating to outdoor relief issued to the Oxford Union on or about the 19th December, 1848; and what steps he proposes to take to remove the difficulties that must arise in the administration of Poor Law relief by the Oxford Union in cases of sudden emergency or urgent necessity, owing to the provisions of the Relief Regulation Order, 1911, conflicting with those contained in the said Order of the 19th December, 1848?

Mr. BURNS

Two Orders relating to outdoor relief were issued to the Oxford guardians on the 19th December, 1848. They were both rescinded by the Relief Regulation Order, 1911.
