HC Deb 15 August 1913 vol 56 cc2828-9W
Mr. LYNCH

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been called to the fact that at a recent meeting of the ophthalmological section of the British Medical Association, a resolution was proposed urging, in the interests of the mercantile marine, an inquiry into the Board of Trade sight-tests, and that this was carried with only one dissentient, the representative in question having been a member of the Departmental Committee . on Sight-tests; and whether he proposes to take any steps in the matter?

Mr. ROBERTSON

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer given to the hon. and gallant Member for Southport on 6th August in reply to a question on this subject.
