§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELThe question of the arrangements for telegraph and telephone repairs in Ireland has proved a difficult one to settle, and for the present the existing arrangements are being maintained, pending further consideration of the whole matter. I am not able to say how many civilians will be employed in Great Britain and Ireland respectively when the repair shop recommended by the Factories Committee has been established.
