Mr. BUXTONThe imports in 1912 of the articles specified which were consigned from Germany were as follows:—Oatmeal, 5,503 cwts., valued at £2,983; groats, 2,400 cwts., valued at £1,614; rolled oats (including Quaker Oats), 28,263 cwts., valued at £16,193. I am unable to state the market prices at the beginning, of December, but the average declared values per 280 lbs. imported in November and December, respectively, were as follows: Oatmeal, 26s. in November and 32s. 5d. in December; groats, 26s. 9d. in November and 35s. 11d. in December; rolled oats (including Quaker Oats), 27s. 6d. in November and 26s. 4d. in December.
