HC Deb 02 April 1913 vol 51 c395W
Mr. RONALD M'NEILL

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he has, or has offered, any objection to the publication of the evidence of the officers of his Department who gave evidence before the Committee on Irish Finance?

Mr. BIRRELL

I have not, and never had, the slightest objection to the publication of any part of the evidence, but for the reason stated by the Prime Minister yesterday, it cannot be published without the consent of the witnesses, who are being consulted by me on the subject.
