HC Deb 28 October 1912 vol 43 c65W
Mr. BOOTH

asked the Home Secretary if any of the paid Lunacy Commissioners are over seventy years of age; what is the amount of their salary; whether the Commissioners in question have decided to take office on the Board of Control for the mentally deficient to be set up under the Mental Deficiency Bill; and, if so, at what salary?

Mr. McKENNA

One Commissioner is over seventy years of age, and, like his colleagues, has £1,500 a year. The Commissioner in question proposes to take office on the Board of Control at the same salary.
