Member's question of that date, the maximum sum held on any one date in the preceding twelve months from the cash balances by any bank or approved borrower who on 6th November was holding any sum forming part of the £8,950,000 mentioned in the question. They do not represent the total of the successive loans granted to and repaid by the various firms during the year.
