asked whether the Gibbings estate, Tiernaur, Newport, Mayo, has yet been offered for sale through the Congested Districts Board; and whether the necessary maps and papers have been lodged with the Board?

Mr. BIRRELL

The estate referred to has been offered for sale through the Congested Districts Board, and the necessary maps and documents have been lodged.

Mr. PATRICK WHITE

asked whether the Estates Commissioners gave a building grant to Hugh Ward, Peter Ward, and M'Mahon, tenants placed on the estate of T. S. M'Cann, county Meath; and whether the grant was expended for the intended purposes?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Estates Commissioners inform me that no building grant was sanctioned in any of the cases mentioned in the question.

asked whether some untenanted land situate at Moynalty, county Meath, has been offered for sale to the Commissioners by the owner, John E. J. Farrell, D.L.; and, if so, with what result?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Estates Commissioners acquired under the provisions of the Evicted Tenants Act certain lands in county Meath from the owner named in the question and such lands have been allotted.
