HC Deb 21 March 1912 vol 35 cc2213-4W
Mr. VINCENT KENNEDY

asked the Chief Secretary whether he has received a Resolution from the council of the Irish

Industrial Development Association in reference to contracts for supplies to the War Office, Admiralty, and Post Office in Ireland, asking that arrangements may be made so that in future Ireland may be afforded an opportunity of securing an equitable share of the expenditure in the departments referred to; and will he make the necessary representations to the said departments, so that the prayer of the resolution may be given effect to?

Mr. BIRRELL

I have received the resolution referred to, and I would suggest

that the association, if they have not already done so, should also send copies of the resolution to the Departments concerned, who will, no doubt, give it every consideration.
