HC Deb 11 March 1912 vol 35 cc928-9W
Major ARCHER-SHEE

asked the Under-Secretary for War if he is aware that the £500 consolidated pay given to officers commanding Territorial Brigades is in many cases only £80 a year more than their pension; and whether in such cases an increased amount may be granted?

Colonel SEELY

The officers drawing the rate of £500 a year are not retired officers. On the Half-pay List they would draw £300.
