Mr. ALDEN

asked the Secretary to the Treasury if he will state the number of boy clerks, second division clerks, Customs assistants, Excise assistants, and assistant clerks (new class), respectively, appointed during each of the years from 1900 to 1911, both inclusive; and the number of boy clerks, second division clerks, and assistant clerks (new class), respectively, employed on the 1st day of January in each of the same years?
