HC Deb 07 March 1912 vol 35 cc686-7W
Mr. LANSBURY

asked the President of the Local Government Board if the Local Government Board has requested the Tewkesbury guardians to make proper provision for their vaccination officer, Thomas Healey, owing to his loss of income through the operation of the new vaccination laws; if the board of guardians has taken any steps to comply with this request; and, if not, will the Local Government Board, in accordance with the pledge given to the House of Commons by the President last year, issue an order compelling the board of guardians to deal fairly and reasonably with this officer?

Mr. BURNS

I am still in communication with the guardians on this matter.
