asked the President of the Board of Trade if he can state the value of the imports of cotton yarn, piece goods, and other cotton manufactures from Germany, Belgium, France, and Austria into this country in the year 1911, and also the exports of similar goods from this country to the same countries?

The following statement gives the information desired by my hon. Friend:—

STATEMENT showing the value of the Imports (Total and Net) of Cotton Yarn, Cotton Piece Goods and other Cotton Manufactures from Germany, Belgium, France, and Austria-Hungary into the United Kingdom in the year 1911, and the Exports (United Kingdom and Foreign and Colonial Manufacture) of similar goods from the United Kingdom to the same countries.
