asked the President of the Board of Trade the total number of gallons of wine imported in cask from Australasia and South Africa, respectively, during the year 1911, and what was the average value in bond, per gallon, of the wine imported from France and of the wine imported from Australasia and South Africa; and what was the amount of duty collected on the French wine and the Australasian and South African wines, respectively?

In 1911, 959,075 gallons of wine were imported in casks from Australasia and 1,842 gallons from British South Africa. The average value of wine in bond imported from France, Australasia, and British South Africa, and the net amount of duty collected on French and Australian wines are shown in the following statement:—
